Course Leader - Chris Ashworth
With nearly 30 years experience of marketing and sales in the construction industry, Chris has worked with many leading companies and is also well placed to share his experiences running training programmes on marketing and sales issues in a construction industry context. This includes specification sales, marketing in construction, key account management and distributor development.
 
He also runs training programmes for the Builders Merchants Federation, is an Associate Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University and a committee member for the Chartered Institute of Marketing Construction Industry Group (CIMCIG).

Sales and Marketing Mentoring
This is an effective method of developing employee skills and undertaking business projects. A mentor can meet with your employee on a regular basis, provide guidance, instruction and impartial advice. The time spent mentoring can be steadily reduced as the employees gains confidence and experience, progressing to mostly email and telephone exchanges. See Case Study 2 for an example.

Marketing and Sales Training from Competitive Advantage
